This Modern brand accordion was originally sold several years ago by Carnegie Accordion Company.  It was bought by one of our amazing young students and used happily for several years and we have this accordion in our possession again because as our young student keeps growing.  He upgraded his accordion in size (and reed configuration) and is now playing a beautiful intermediate size accordion.  This accordion is ideal for a child as it is light in weight and small in size. 

This Modern accordion has 41 treble keys measuring in at a 15-3/8" keyboard, 120 bass buttons, 2 sets of treble reeds LM (low, middle), 4 sets of bass reeds, 4 treble switches, it has 2 bass registers, comes with new 2" wide velvet shoulder straps, newer nylon chest pad, newer velvet bass strap, and a pre-owned hard-shell carrying case.  This accordion weighing approximately 15.5 lbs. has very good compression.  There are signs of wear on this accordion but it does not affect its playability.​
